Call for Spain–Baltic Research Visits
Building European Bridges in Research, Development and Innovation
Thanks to the support of the Ramón Areces Foundation, we are reopening the call for research visits aimed at Spanish researchers, or researchers working at Spanish institutions, to visit institutions in the Baltic countries. The visit must take place between September 2025 and April 2026. As only a limited number of visits can be granted, there will be a selection process lasting up to two weeks after the application deadline. Below are the participation requirements and the necessary documents for the application, which must be sent to info@acebaltic.eu by July 31, 2025.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Nationality and affiliation: Applicants must be Spanish researchers or foreign researchers working at a Spanish institution.
- Host in the Baltic countries: Applicants must have a host who is a member of ACEBaltic during their visit. If you need guidance on potential hosts, please contact us.
- Outreach talk: Selected researchers must give at least one outreach talk during their visit.
- Visit dates: The proposed visit must take place between September 1, 2025, and April 30, 2026.
Required Documents for the Application:
- Host’s name and email: Provide the contact information of the ACEBaltic member who will host the visit.
- Scientific program of the visit: A document describing the purpose and planned scientific activities of the visit (maximum 1 page).
- Travel itinerary: Include proposed dates, flight details, and accommodation plans. Funding will cover up to a maximum of 1,200 euros.
- Provisional title and summary of the outreach talk: Provide a title and a brief summary of the outreach talk that will be given during the visit.
- Applicant’s CV: Curriculum Vitae of the applying researcher.
