SUMMARY:Call for papers for the Women in Science (WinS) International Conference
DESCRIPTION:The Association of Spanish Scientists in the Baltic Countries (ACEBaltic) invites the academic and institutional community to participate in the Women in Science (WinS) International Conference\, an international forum dedicated to advancing gender equality in science through research\, dialogue\, and policy exchange. \nThe conference will take place on 11–12 February 2026 at Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius\, Lithuania\, in the framework of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. The event is co-organized by Mykolas Romeris University and ACEBaltic\, with the collaboration of the Embassy of Spain in Lithuania\, the Ramón Areces Foundation\, and the European Women Rectors Association (EWORA). \nWinS will bring together institutions\, policymakers\, researchers\, and educators from all fields of knowledge\, fostering interdisciplinary perspectives on gender equality in science\, higher education\, and innovation. The programme includes keynote lectures and panel discussions led by international experts. Among these sessions\, a special highlight will be the presentation of the RAICEX White Paper on Gender Policy in Science and Academia\, which offers evidence-based recommendations to advance gender equity in research systems. \nThe call for papers adopts a transversal and inclusive approach and is open until 7 January. Conference registration and abstract submission are available at www.winsconference.eu. Participation is free of charge\, although prior registration is required. \n//// Spanish //// \nLa Asociación de Científicos Españoles en los Países Bálticos (ACEBaltic) invita a la comunidad académica e institucional a participar en la Conferencia Internacional Women in Science (WinS)\, un foro internacional dedicado a promover la igualdad de género en la ciencia a través de la investigación\, el diálogo y el intercambio de políticas. \nLa conferencia se llevará a cabo los días 11 y 12 de febrero de 2026 en la Universidad Mykolas Romeris en Vilnius\, Lituania\, en el marco del Día Internacional de la Mujer y la Niña en la Ciencia. El evento es coorganizado por la Universidad Mykolas Romeris y ACEBaltic\, con la colaboración de la Embajada de España en Lituania\, la Fundación Ramón Areces y la European Women Rectors Association (EWORA). \nWinS reunirá a instituciones\, responsables de políticas\, investigadores y educadores de todos los campos del conocimiento\, fomentando perspectivas interdisciplinarias sobre la igualdad de género en la ciencia\, la educación superior y la innovación.
